Here's how it works:
Answer a few simple questions about your vehicle’s condition and get an estimated value.
Schedule an appointment for our team to inspect your vehicle.
Dealers nationwide bid for the chance to purchase your vehicle.
Accept the high-bid, get paid and we'll pick your car up
The beauty is that you don't have to. AllCars will sell it for you! Once you've entered your information, our team will reach out to you to schedule a confirmatory inspection. They will conduct a 15-minute walkaround inspection backed by nationwide vehicle inspection company, ACV (NASDAQ: ACVA). Once the inspection is complete, your vehicle will get launched to auction on the ACV digital marketplace. If you choose to accept the high-bid, we'll cut you a check.
Because we make it easy and pair you with the right dealer to ensure they pay you a fair market value for your vehicle. Trading in your vehicle, on the other hand, doesn't always net the best price because dealers need to make a profit. And selling your car on your own, in an attempt to get a higher price for it, is confusing, time consuming, and uncertain. It costs money, too.
First, you have to advertise it for sale, then you have to entertain prospective buyers and meet strangers who are interested in a test drive. If you do sell your vehicle, which could take weeks or months, you're responsible for facilitating DMV paperwork and collecting payment.
Finally, ClearCar's process allows dealers to start a bidding frenzy over your vehicle in effort to maximize your potential payout.
After our team conducts an inspection to ensure the information you've listed about your vehicle is correct, and the vehicle is run through auction, you'll be presented with the highest bid. If you choose to accept that bid, the purchasing dealer will send payment within a few days depending on their accounting process.
If you choose to have dealers bid on your vehicle, you will forgo the instant offer and the inspector will launch your vehicle into an online auction where auto dealers can bid for your vehicle. At the conclusion of the auction you will be shown the highest bid that your vehicle received. The high-bid will become your new offer and you will have the chance to accept the bid and sell your car, or walk away no-strings attached.
